Mission Trails Family Session
San Diego weather has been perfection this year! I know it's perfect all the time here (compared to most places), but 2021 has been a warm one. We've definitely had an Indian summer this year. Oh Mission Trails! Where do I begin with this beautiful place. It's one San Diego's prettiest parks to take photos at. I love this spot because of the vivid tones and greenery year round. Even during some of our driest months, this place is always blossoming with color. The park is huge! Spanning over 8,000 acres, with 65 miles of trails, Mission Trails is one of the largest parks in the country. In order to get to the cool, photo worthy spots, a bit of light hiking is required. Photo tip - Prepare for your shoot by packing an extra pair of walking shoes, a water bottle and a couple of snacks for the little ones. You'll thank me later!
Melanie and Evan are forever the sweetest people to work with. I'm always over the moon excited when they reach out requesting another session. I met them a few years back for business headshots and quickly became their go to photographer. This shoot was one of firsts as a family of three. A special thing I love about photography is watching each family grow over the years. From wedding photography, to maternity and family sessions. Your girl does it all! It's fun to catch up with clients after not seeing them for a while. It's like a mini coffee date, but with photos instead. Especially these days, post pandemic lockdown. I still feel like I'm catching up with old friends and clients.
